First of all, we are seasoned travelers; we've traveled for months through Africa, S. Am, NZ, and Europe. The issue is not Colombia's beauty but rather a major infrastructure problem in a city where the police do not try to assist a robbery at knife point. It is misleading to advertise that the only danger is wanting to stay. On the contrary, the US state department informed us crime against tourists has recently risen there.

After six weeks in this amazing country I wholeheartedly agree with the message in the video. Never been to a place as welcoming as Colombia before (and have travelled extensively). Colombia: number 1 !!
