Danish pig investigation

Visiting multiple farms across Denmark, Compassion in World Farmings investigations team documented each stage of the intensive pig production process of one of Europes major national players in this industry.

Our film shows pregnant sows confined in stalls, mother sow and piglets kept in farrowing crates unable to engage in their natural behaviour, the barren, crowded pens in which tail-docked pigs spend the vast majority of their lives, and pigs destined for slaughter being taken from the intensive farms where they have spent their short and miserable lives.

How can we treat an animal like that? An animal the gives us the ultimate? - IT*S LIFE - to feed us.

I'm so ashamed on behalf of the farmers who keep the animals like this. And not to mention the consumers who will turn the blind eye, as long as the price is low!!

NO pork roast is worth this!

.. so dont expect them to have 10kg or more! and don't think that at 0:34 is owercrowded pen.. it's the design you can even see on agrotek! and ofkorse they look dirty, they are pigs!! you cant be there 24hr/day to clean the shit all the time! so people, don't be smar if you never tryed it! i like pigs and i thing they are doing OK!

this is bullshit. pigs fight from first day, it's their nature.. and pens overcrowded? what you want two pigs on 10m^2 or what?? and this smacker is not painful and it only gives noise.. why don't you try to move some piglets one day and see how you can manage without plastic smacker that it's not painful.. better than electroshock i think.. and they have colored stripes becouse they have been inyected against diarrea or infections. and that little piglet shown was his first or secondDay of life

NOT GOOD TO ILL TREAT ANIMAL, I LOVE PIGS, AND I have a piggery farm here in uganda, as a chairity, and it has empower the lives of poor women and children here, i give 2 piglets away out of the many produced to a poor family so they have income generating project, CHECK ON YOUTUBE, , PIG MADNESS IN UGANDA, PIGS ARE VERY CLEVER
