I ignored topwater for nearly the first 30 years of my life. In June I caught my first bass ever with a Hula Popper, and now I own three Hula Poppers and just got a Jitterbug. Topwater is my favorite. :)

even tho bass are top water predators ive caught way more bass under the water than with top water

lol i went fishing with a jitter bug the other day, and it was the first topwater strike i ever had and i was so stunned i couldnt move to set the hook
