First off.. This movie was made in less than 1 day to see what the possibilities with Youtube annotations are..
We are looking into different aspects of Interactive and non-lineair storytelling for our minor called Digital Media Productions at the HAN. This is our very first test movie to look into the different possibilities at how to use Youtube annotations.
Probably the first interactive non-lineair Lego stop-motion animation. ;)
**Can you find the hidden blooper movies? ;)**
**** Feel free to leave comments, tell me your idea's on ways to take this to the next level!! ****
Wow this is fantastic, I love that you've been able to use YouTubes features to make it interactive. I'm currently working on an interactive piece of stop frame animation (not for viewing on YouTube though) and was getting very frustrated and disheartened - but seeing this has inspired me and motivated me to continue - thanks.

Thank you :D
We are currently working on a 2nd story.. One that will have multiple endings and multiple ways to get to these endings :) Its a lot of work but worth it i hope :D

I look forward to it!
Do you have to develop the piece especially to work on youtube using its comments facility? Or can you make it in Flash with buttons which are then interpreted by YouTube?

since we made a little storyboard and script we can just focus on making the movies and adding the 'click fields' later on since we know where they have to be..
On youtube you can add these 'annotation' by dragging a field to the correct size and linking it to a another youtube movie..
We are also making an offline version and we are also using flash for it..
