  • the battery compartment can hold six batteries so I will either have 24v 18000mah or 36v 12000mah. I also ordered a 36v controller, however I would still like to know how your 8s through the stock controller worked.

  • 3000mah batteries I had in it. I would like to run the 36v (equivalent to 9s) through the stock controller, however I believe that would kill the controller so I haven't even attempted it. I have ordered two 6000mah 3s batteries and a bunch of connectors (expecting to get more later), so when those arrive, I will try that, again, through the speed controller. I have those batteries on my Christmas list so I will probably get between 2 and 4. I have measured and found that, without modification,

  • t. I then took out one battery and had two 3s lipos in series as you do through the stock speed controller. Being that I am 15 years old and weigh approximately 150lbs, it couldn't climb hills too well, and I found the 10 mph it was achieving on flat land to be too slow. I then found a wall switch and again connected the batteries directly to the motor with the switch on the positive. It hit a top speed of 23.3 mph (gps speedometer) with me on it and ran for around 1.5 miles off of the three

  • I bought a razor e300 for $50 (used) and was planning to modify it. The guy said it was all perfect, and ready to run, however when I got home with it, I found the batteries were dead; I don't mean need a charge, I mean the 7Ah batteries hold 1.5Ah...also they were extremely heavy. I, however, didn't care because I was actually planning on taking them out anyway. My first attempt was 3 3s lipo batteries in series, however having to connect and disconnect the wires was too hard for a moving objec

  • That thing is perfect! 8s should be fine. A generic 36v controller is $24, so you are well on your way to making a beast. The motors won't do well past 1.5times thier power. My 36v 650watt gets very hot on 60v, but only when I'm climbing hills or bogging in the dirt. on straight runs it will do 24mph and run cool.
