worst thing about gi joe was the loading times.

nice gameplay tho, especially with that jeep and them guided missiles it had.

@Hokita00 Time to get an emulator and start playing then! You can play as Snake Eyes and other GI Joes. Awesome for it's time.

gives me more chills than most todays games and just-so-so-music (except nintendo games and DS / 3DS those are still great of course, very amiga like music often :)

Grew up on the C64, but I barely remembered this game! In fact, the bit of tune that starts at 0:54 and goes until about 1:23 -- I've had that stuck in my head for the past 20 years or so, and -never- knew where it came from. But now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

@Hokita00 -- The game was pretty awesome back then. Actually it is even still pretty fun to play. Time for you load it up on a C64 emulator.

The long load times weren't so bad thanks to good music. Seemed like Epyx understood that if there's no way around long load times (often was the case with many of the better games back then on the C64), then you better make extra sure you get things like the music right. Epyx made a lot of awesome games.
