recycOil - Colorado Innovation and Jobs Tour - Webisode 1

Anyone who has ever worked in a big restaurant kitchen might doubt the value of all that foul brown liquid left over in the fryer. But we found a business turning that garbage into gold .

RecycOil is a small company based in Berthoud that collects old cooking grease and refines it into bio-deisel for cars and trucks. They aren't the only game in town, but what makes RecycOil unique are the systems they use to predict how much grease restaurants use and determine the optimal time to pick it up.

RecycOil could be anywhere, but they choose to be in Colorado. it's a reminder that Colorado's not just a great place to visit, it's a great place to open an office.

That's why we are traveling the state, meeting with businesses, economic development groups and education leaders to develop a plan for Colorado's economic prosperity. We're working to create a business environment so that more and more products will say "imagined and designed in Colorado."

what a bunch of criminals. they are terrible business men who got lucky doing bad business. If you had ever seen a "rocky mountain" or "recycoil" drum or container you would know that this company is unclean, irresponsible and they are hurting the environment and colorado more than they care to help it.

What a despicable company this is. You should distance yourself from RMSE or RecycOil or whatever they are called today. These people have been charged with trespassing on a competitor's property and are being investigated for several thefts.

It's a shame to see a great guy like Hickenlooper get mixed up with a crooked company like recycOil/Rocky Mtn Sustainable Enterprise. If he only knew the unethical & illegal things they have done and still do. There is a police record. We need quality biodiesel from quality and ethical businesses.
