So how much electricity does the thing use (a computer with "power on" is needed I suppose). Is´nt there any more down to earth simple sollution that actually doesent use computers or electronics..

@ifthebeltiscrackedor ... yes there is this is a old video one of the first I ever posted ... you can find the latest tracker on greenwatts.info click the tracker #4 link ... we have the LM339 circuit which tracks and resets automatically and can be modified to drive larger motors/actuators with relays thanks to scottymac ( see the visitors comments section)
