Damn shame Ronnie will probably never get back the 59 Les Paul that allegedly ended up in the hands of Gary Moore. Little wonder Gary doesn't want to talk about the possible possession of a million dollar stolen guitar.

Saw them at Newcastle City Hall - May 19th 1974. They did the Status Quo tour - brilliant - there was such a buzz about them - that sort of buzz will never happen again.

I was at the same concert.... went to see QUO, which were brilliant, but experienced Montrose and will NEVER forget their performance....... ABSOLUTE CLASS. Montrose classic!

Small book headstock. Last Cherry Sunburst was in '60 and this one's starting to fade.

Your welcome! The fade tells me it's a '59. Plaintops are fetching $300K, Flametops around 400K; but since it's Ronnie's she's worth a Mill at least!
