@MelchaMix yes these are very reliable they have the same engine out of the mitsubishi colt gti the 4g93 these are 4g93p i think the p is just means proton, but its all mitsubishi running gear, chain cambelt so no worrys of that snapping, they are fairly quick stock yes having the same gearbox as the mitsubishi evo it accelerates quite fast, the good thing is the turbo off the old evo 3 will fit straight on these even with stock internals you will still see roughly 200bhp

106 gti beats it though yeah ? not much in it but for a 1.6 16v gti it's good that it can beat this in corners , acceleration and top speed ?

adamjonathanbell- it has a timing belt not a chain, and it doesnt have an evo gearbox because evo is 4wheel drive, and these engines are solid as a rock, my colt gti done 170k miles, no problems at all

@MelchaMix for a 1.8 you cant go wrong, there very fast for a 1.8 and handle awesome, because lotus does the suspension for these cars
