EK58 ZXP cyclist tailgating

not 100% sure what happened here but it seemed that the driver was trying to overtake the cyclists when there wasn't space to do so

not sure the reg is correct either - can anyone confirm?

Looked the other way round to me. The cyclist undertook the Skoda just as the road narrowed.

@mrcellophane99 Could be - will take another look. I spoke to the cyclist afterwards but he said he didn't know why it happened. This junc is a bit of nightmare tho as the cycle lane puts you on the inside of any vehicles turning left when it merges with the main carriageway....

Unfortunately the DVLA website is currently down so I can't check the colour of the vehicle, but I think it might be EK58ZXP (Skoda Octavia estate). EX58ZXP is a Kia Rio 3, and I don't think that this vehicle is a Kia.

@CyclingMikey Thanks! Certainly looks like a Skoda so think you could be right. Its hard to work out the characters & numbers from my camera sometimes.

That's EK58 ZXP. He was tailgating that cyclist and passed him too closely. Unless the cyclist had just filtered past him.

Also, the black Audi RJ57 YJT changed lanes with no regard to your safety nor the safety of the cyclists in front of you at 0:30.

The cyclist at 0:04 looked before changing lanes, saw the white van and proceeded anyway, and got squeezed between the van and the taxi.

Too many people not following the rules, if you ask me.
