Just when you think you have seen it all, you get another surprise! The latest two rescues were abandoned with horrific flea and tick infestations terrible dehydration and clinically ematiated. They were living next to what was left of a green stagnant puddle in the mountains near Isla Planner. Jack (brown one) had a badly wounded tail and was bleeding to death. The vet was sure they were cose to the end, but despite their struggle for survival and their emmune system begining to shut down, after just a couple of days of intensive care from Andrew Sabine and Janet they have really started to come on.

This video was taken just 4 days after their rescue and shows their wonderful warm hearted and loving nature, together with their obvoius joy at leaving behind their living hell.

I made this video as a thanks for the help we have received from Greyhounds in need ( G.I.N. ) more will follow.

Thanks to our very few foster carers dogs like this can be helped when there is NO space at our kennels.

  • WONDERFUL!!!!! Their eyes tell it all... Bless you forever, everyone involved in rescuing these gentle angels. The song is so well chosen, Andrew! I was in tears when I recognized the first few bars of Bring Him Home... I hope and pray that we all bring them home!...

  • Ojalá todos los que son abandonados, repudiados, usados y tirados... tuvieran un final feliz.

    Un abrazo desde España.

  • All they have been through and they still smile and show love. Whoever would do such a thing as abandoning Jack and Jill is a true monster and has no room in our society. Thanks Andrew for all you are doing and thanks to G.I.N. for all they do to help these beautiful beings. Bless you.

  • Another great job, Andrew! What an excellent choice of music; I would have never thought of Les Mis, but it's perfect.

Keep up all your good work; I'll be back some day-- I hope!
