Traxxas Slash with LRP Eraser 10.5T Brushless Combo 4100kv Gearing: 18/86, 2s 4000 LiPO. Jumping practice at local dirt track. Another bad landing... and some not too bad, maybe I think.

  • Does the Lrp have a low voltage cut off?

    thnx

  • Yes. The auto cut off shut down my ESC is 7,2V when i used the 2 cells LiPos. The cutt off is works good in this system, much better the VXL.

  • Nice.that's the gearing your using?

I'm getting a 5700 kv motor and castle creations told me to do around a 14/90 gearing. I'm thinking 16/90 will be good enough though.

  • Yes that. I think your motor is too much for a Slash. This truck is likes more the lower kv systems. If I now build a brushless Slash I choose the LRP Vector X11 13.5T (3200 kv) or 10.5T (3800kv) or a VXL combo. With that comobs easier to keep cool down your system a gearing higher.
