Severe Thunderstorm in Dayton, Tennessee

This is video of a severe thunderstorm in Dayton, Tennessee with a lot of frequent and vivid lightning. This thunderstorm occurred on March 29, 2002. I also filmed the TV, where TWC's severe weather expert, Dr. Greg Forbes, is showing the doppler radar, which is showing the intense line of severe thunderstorms heading right toward where I am, which is in southern Rhea County, Tennessee. I am at a friend's house who my family has known for years up on the balcony of a 3-story house on a 2,000 foot mountain.

@6649393 At the time, an RCA VHS camcorder. That's what I used to video tape this storm with. We don't have one now that works, unfortunately. :(

I like storms too much. I would have stood outside to listen and watch. Was the wind bad? Cool stuff though.

The wind picked up a bit. but I couldn't tell that much, since it was at night. I know that about 16 west of where I took this video, trees were down in Pikeville, Tennessee and that in Cleveland, Tennessee, about 30 miles to the southeast, the wind blew the roof off a rubbermaid facility, according to the SPC.
