This is a few clipped scenes displaying the Sprint Smash into heavy cancel maneuver as requested on the Nexon Vindictus Forums. It's great for all types of situations if used wisely.

Mouse Mode Controls:
Shift+W+Right Click - Space+W - Shift+W+Right Click

It's a good idea to turn off camera controlling attack direction as it enhances the use of heavy canceling in combos (Heavy cancel + switch attack direction after combo = deadly)

  • It's really only worth doing this technique using a heavy shield, far better to use counter-attack with a small shield on the bosses you can actually counter. Hell this is actually faster with a heavy shield too.

  • @LlamaTheory Someone (maybe youtube) marked this comment as spam and I umarked it as such. If you take a look at the date of this video, it's from back in Beta. A lot of things were being tested and experimented with at the time.

I was not trying to show using heavy stander cancels to sprint smash as a replacement to counterattack. As a Fiona with counterattack maxxed I cherish my counterattack in more scenarios (including Raids) than most would not think to attempt.

    Fiona's that don't HC fail

  • Man that is heavy on your stam though :/

  • @Ocelot93090 Yeah, kind of. Between Combat Respiration, Agility Mastery, and Smash mastery (Which is what im missing), Sprint Smashes become a great resource for stuns/KD's.

It's more important to learn heavy cancel in general but you see many pro fiona's in KR use this on bosses of all sizes.

  • @Matty80822 How is it freaking subjective? How has anyone gained from having less tools to a situation? How could the opposite of what I said even be true?

  • @strikerk the irony being your last statement is glaringly subjective, right?

  • @z00tz I understand you completely, I realize the video is just to show the technique... the comment was more for the other idiots arguing about it.

  • @strikerk lol well thats ur opinion. so what u proposed is subjective. In my opinion or subjective view, there is no need to use a tool when it isn't really needed. but eh u have ur opinion and i have mine so lets just stop this discussion here. Plus nothing i say will stop u or me from using this skill when the boss become fast like in boat 4 XD. nice talking to u and good to see someone on the net who didn't resort to cursing after 2 comments ^.^

I use both without sacrifice, how that makes me a scrub I cannot possibly understand. Let's just concede that my tactics are effective for me~ and that if that is so it may be effective for others. I propose the idea of adding a tool to a Fiona's arsenal REGARDLESS of difficulty, while you argue for the removal of a tool based on your consensus of the boss's difficulty. While your opinion is purely subjective, we both have admitted that mine is not. More tools is never a bad thing.

  • @strikerk my point of efficiency was to show that for bosses in NA atm there is no need to use shield stun =.= it is a big waste of stam and just not worth it. Now in boat 4 and 5 when the bosses become harder, i can see shield stun being used for quick hits while still leaving room for dodging or blocking. Your being a scrub for using a skill that u dont really need to use on bosses in boat 3 to 1. It is clearly much easier to just use counter for these bosses =.=

  • @rex1KILLER

Never said it was the main method of stun. I said it had good stun and it's good to do between attacks. It leaves you absolutely perfectly safe. Did I ever, ONCE, say it was more or less efficient? It's a weapon in your arsenal, and you'd be just another scrub Fiona if you ignored it. There is a reason the skillset between Korean and American players is so wide, and it's because we don't listen to advice and think we're all right. I never said other methods were not effective.
