The 16th of December climate activists and civil society, mainly from the Global South, were marching to the Bella Center to criticize the lack of democracy and transparency of the COP15. They were brutally attacked by the police forces who used pepperspray, teargas and sticks to intimidate and physically harm the people.

  • @Rad1ka1 You should have had it in your mouth and eyes you stupid uneducated tramp. Why do you scum of the earth scruff bags keep protesting all the time about nothing. Nobody cares.

  • I don't blame the police. The police are just doing their job trying to keep these smelly tramps under control & keep them quiet. Why do these scruffy stinking tramps keep protesting over shit all the time. Nobody listens to them anyway. They are just a nuisance. I say the police should shoot & kill this vermin.

  • @Dhezo The police should be there to observe the crowd. They shouldent be the ones to provoke a mob to get violent.

Its lethal to cause panic in such situations. If panic spreads in a mob people will get trampled. Not to mention the hazard of hitting people to the face with nightsticks. This is not a correct way to handle a crowd.

  • Stop fighting the cops and go hug a tree...

  • Police brutality? What do you think the police should have done?

Giving flowers and cupcakes to all wont solve anything...

  • nobody threw rocks, nobody was planning to throw rocks. They were just meeting with delegates to make a peoples assembly.

  • ACAB!

  • any nobody would throw any rocks... It was a peaceful protest you know? And despite the police provocation and violence I did not see a single person even trying to defend himself by beating them back.
