Reclaim Power - police brutality against peaceful protesters

The 16th of December climate activists and civil society, mainly from the Global South, were marching to the Bella Center to criticize the lack of democracy and transparency of the COP15. They were brutally attacked by the police forces who used pepperspray, teargas and sticks to intimidate and physically harm the people.

I don't blame the police. The police are just doing their job trying to keep these smelly tramps under control & keep them quiet. @Dhezo The police should be there to observe the crowd. They shouldent be the ones to provoke a mob to get violent.

Its lethal to cause panic in such situations. If panic spreads in a mob people will get trampled. Not to mention the hazard of hitting people to the face with nightsticks. This is not a correct way to handle a crowd.
