However, The main reason we have shitbags wearing badges today is because the general public compromises their standards and kisses these idiots asses. When a cop steps out of line you should have enough balls to tactfully and politely let them know that you know it and then take legal action. Remind them that their main job is to protect you. Declare common law and don't be a pussy. If they use a tazer, take away their bond.
