First and foremost, I own none of the rights to the Bleach television series and franchise nor those to Meshuggah's material. This video is an anime music video, created for non-profit entertainment purposes, and for funsies.

The title is not the actual title of the music you hear. It is actually a segment from Mesh's 2005 "Catch Thirty-Three" album, which is essentially a single subdivided 47-minute song. The segment here is the very end of "Mind's Mirrors" leading into "In Death - is Life" and then the majority of "In Death - is Death." The clips used are all from the show Bleach (the first 119 episodes, because that's how far in the series I've gotten; and the first movie).

Meshuggah
"In Death - is Life/In Death - is Death"
Catch Thirty-Three
Nuclear Blast 2005

So imminently visible - this cloaked innocent guilt
Sentenced to a lifetime, a second of structured chaos
Trampled by the ferocious, raging crowds of solitude
I'm the soil beneath me soaking up the sustenance of my own death

Extradited to the gods of chance, the deities of all things random
Alive, multicolored, twitching in their dead monochrome world

Iridescent to the searching eyes, I'm all things vivid in a world of gray
So easily spotted, so easily claimed in this domain where all is prey

My thoughts a radiant beacon to the omnidirectional hunter-god radar
I'm a markerlight of flesh to these subconscious carnivores
I am them. I am teeth. I'm their arousal at the kill
Feasting on self. A schizo-reality warp. The contradiction fulfilled

Focus the only means to see me back to life's unending swirl
A reversal of passing away, as the world of dead, as away is now my origin

  • Needs more violence and psychological themes if you are going to use Meshuggah's music for anything. Bleach doesn't do it justice IMO. Good edits though.

  • @NeurocideVIbeKILLa Agreed, really, but the edits are what I was going for after. So thanks.

  • You should stop watching them.

  • Imo Bleach is not dark enough for Catch 33.

  • Not many shows are, nor for any other Mesh material; at least, that I'd care to watch.

  • 5:39 - the backroundnoise sounds like peter griffin is laughing on ecstasy :D

  • FUCK THE HATERS THIS AMV IS THE SHIT !!!!

  • @MorbusMactabilis you could try the guyver? very blood thursty, not the new ones made but the old ones?

  • @MorbusMactabilis Negative. i think this was executed very nicely. Timing gave it justice and the scenes were good.

  • Fuck ya'll! Catch 33 is scary enough as it is! haha

  • Maybe another anime like for example... Claymore, would fit Meshuggah more

  • @NeurocideVIbeKILLa actually bleach has alot of subtle psychological themes to it... each battle is more or less a battle of wills and emotions symbolized. in order to make an action anime from it. each battle with a hollow represented a different variation of guilt that ichigo had for his mothers death. each battle with a soul reaper represented different doubts he has in himself and emotions that he has for rukia. each espata represents different expectations. bleach also has plenty of violenc
