  • pt2- They tried to tie him down To make him place his two feet on the ground How could they treat him so To ride was more than living But taking more than giving They tried to clip his wings just like a fly So instead of standing still he chose to die Through a mean and dusty bend He leans her ever inward like a friend He rides her to the ground His heels look like earth jetting A haze of blue smoke threading While the holy sound of revving fills the sky You can see the ghostly rider passing by
  • @neszero333 Thanks for the lyrics, i never got around to doing them!

  • I noticed the sound is a little out of sync with the video. At 2:10 it makes it look like the grave muct be about 50 feet deep with the time it takes the flowers to hit the bottom!

  • I have seen this film several times, and I love it, but one thing has always puzzled me. Why didn't they dig the grave deep enough to cover his head?

  • this is how i wanna go buried upright with my bike RIDING FREE!!!

  • Forgive me for nitpicking with such a gorgeous song but isn't "The chosen few know of his fame" a contradiction in terms?

  • EXCELENT!! Now how about Puff the Magic Dragon, .. . can ya do that one ?

  • @neszero333 Wow, thanks, man! You're a star!

  • And lyrics, (pt 1): And the world never knew his name But the chosen few know of his fame Come join his company Riding free He really got it on He rode that sweet machine just like a bomb He felt her in his soul But no one there could find him So he left those fools behind him With a feeling that they could not understand He took away his life with his own hand Continued----->
  • @RickDougall D and G up until "but no one there could find him," which brings you to Bm, G, Bm. Then: "with a feeling that they could not understand," Dm, Em, Dm, D.

That's basically it. Obviously find your own picking pattern to match the recording, but I'm pretty sure those are the proper chords. (And just to clarify the fingering I use for the chords since this is not a tab, string/fret, Bm= EX-A2-D4-G4-B3-E2.Dm= Ex-A0-D3-G2-B3-E1. Hope this helps.

  • @MusikHHClip ...And if anyone knows the chords, I'd be really grateful too. I got the D/Em bits but there's some elusive little sequences in there. Cheers :-)

  • I´m looking for the Lyrics from this Song! Who can help me?

  • anyone have the lyrics to this song please?
