Music by The Moody Blues

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

The mist is lifting slowly
I can see the way ahead
And I've left behind the empty streets
That once inspired my life
And the strength of the emotion
Is like thunder in the air
'Cos the promise that we made each other
Haunts me to the end

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

The secret of your beauty
And the mystery of your soul
I've been searching for in everyone I meet
And the times I've been mistaken
It's impossible to say
And the grass is growing
Underneath our feet

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

[Interlude:]
You see I know you're out there somewhere
O yes I know you're out there somewhere
You see I know I'll find you somehow
O yes I know I'll find you somehow

the words that I remember
From my childhood still are true
That there's none so blind
As those who will not see
And to those who lack the courage
And say it's dangerous to try
Well they just don't know
That love eternal will not be denied

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

Yes I know it's going to happen
I can feel you getting near
And soon we'll be returning
To the fountain of our youth
And if you wake up wondering
In the darkness I'll be there
My arms will close around you
And protect you with the truth

I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere, somewhere
I know you're out there somewhere
Somewhere you can hear my voice
I know I'll find you somehow
Somehow, somehow
I know I'll find you somehow
And somehow I'll return again to you

  • 3 years January 23 I lost my 21 year old son, my only son. I won't get to dance with him at his wedding, and I miss him everyday greatly. I'm so blessed to have my 3 girls and my little grandson to keep me going (who was born 1 month to the day of my son's death). This song is the hope I have that when I speak to him, he can hear me. Love ya Daniel tremendously...

  • @mgurski8 He will always hear you- Just like my Father hears me- He passed away in 95

  • Absolutely beautiful! I hope youtube doesn't delete this one since they have blocked downloading it. I wanted it on my hard drive "just in case" but it isn't possible, at least not with the program I have.

And my mom in 1991. We are eternal beings, to live in love forever together.

All the best to you both and all of us who look forward to eternity to be with those we love who have 'graduated' before us. "I never thought I'd get to be a million." :D

  • @serendipitysmiles47 Hello serendipitysmilles. (Sorry, meant to reply earlier). As I said, it makes it hard to read. To indicate excitement or interest, you can add the occasional exclamation mark (but don't overdo it). Good, expressive writing is *subtle*, not overloaded with emotion. There's nothing wrong with your writing above. Take out the three exclamation marks (x2) and put just one after "Great work", and maybe as you did, at the end. You expressed it nicely, though.

  • @theherald1000 with respect and concern of your request regarding my upper case, i do apologize for this (it is my way, in typing, of expressing excitement). again utmost apologies for causing you concern. with respect which is due.

  • @serendipitysmiles47 It's nice to read your comment, but just one thing: please write it in lower case; it's much easier on the eye.

  • she is out there...i thought i found her...a million times on here..and i did...x0...

  • This song and "Your WIldest Dreams" both have meant so much to me in recent years. They remind me of the chances we do not take in regards to loved ones who are gone from our lives forever. Instead,we have no choice but to wonder what would have been. This particular vidoe is exactly how I envisioned it. Absolutley wonderful, congratulations.
