get over the civil war everybody. you keep dwelling on the past and you will never move foward. slaves have existed all throughout the world in history. the south is nothing like it was back then. it has advanced far more than the north as far as rehashing the past goes (and there are more black people here than anywhere in the country). we are too busy moving FOWARD here!!! everybody up north should give that a try and advance a little more like us.

@UncleSlippie I've read MANY MANY history books, watched many history programs, and I've done a lot of history research. All of it says exactly what I said! Slavery existed in the South AND North! All the wealthy citizens and government officials had slaves. The majority of soliders that fought in the civil war didn't have slaves. They couldn't afford them. And that's BOTH SIDES! It happened EVERYWHERE! I'm not going to repeat myself again. It's pointless. This is already available to read!
