Archie Foxworthy and his family have been making maple syrup in Parke County, Indiana for over fifty five years. The 1862 school-house the Foxworthy family used to sell syrup, jams and other goods burned two days before this year's Parke County Maple Fair. This program combines archival footage with footage shot at the 2008 Maple Fair.

In Part Two the 92 year-old Archie Foxworthy tells tales and recites poems and features archival footage of Archie playing the banjo using a hickory nut as a pick in 1981.
