how to install Microsoft Windows NT 3.1 part two

windows nt 3.1 microsoft FIRST true 32bit operating system yes TRUE windows 95 98 and me aren't TRUE 32bit. windows nt 3.1 and 3.5 dont install proply on todays hardware they stop at an error just as the install goes into the windows gui installation part it haults saying something like "windows cannot install on this processor". there are ways of fixong it, it this tutorial i will show you how. there probably is not much point installing this if you have used the 16bit windows 3.1 or 3.11 becasue it is basicaly the same apart from nt has more settings and doesnt exit to dos, is faster also, i havent been able to find an internet explorer for it yet that doesnt fail downloading from the server by the way. windows nt 3.51 installs proply without this patch and 3.51 has an update that installs explorer.exe on it.

NT 3.5 cannot be installed on anything newer than a pentium BUT, NT 3.51 can.

wrong you can trick nt 3.1 and 3.5 into thinking its running n a pentium therefore running it on virtualy any x86 processor around. which is exactly what is acomplished here

no it isant. i needed to boot nt4 to edit some nt 3.1 setup files to make it run on my processor. at 4:07 it clearly states in the firs line "microsoft windows NT version 3.1"

NVM, VM Ware was using SCSI (I chose NT as the OS so it just picked that, SCSI works in NT4)

I chose Windows 3.1 and it made an IDE Drive
