2004 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200c Custom 97 Horsepower

I am selling this Sportster for $8495. This bike is super fast kicking out 97 horsepower (stock is about 60 horse) and it is also increadibly loud. It has about $4000 in extras on it including after market chrome rims, Screamin Eagle Cams, Air Cleaner Kit, Mikuni Carb, Corbin Solo seat, 2 person seat (not shown) pegs, grips, forward controls, luggage rack, smoke lenses, drag bars, and a lot of extra chrome. @scrappysrmc should actually buy a bike before he sounds off on em, i owned sportsters from different generations, the diff between a 91-03 1200 & 2004up is near nothing stock, 04up got a couple hp from the heads but needs upgrades to ulitize the heads. the dyno sheets i seen on stock 1200's is generally the same late 60s-mid 70s. 04up had the most EPA restricted carb ever, the EFI stock is EPA restricted too. the best sportster IMO would be a 2000-03 with a Buell X1 engine (light flywheel)

@ernofsteel007 I gave you too much credit. Your not even a weekend warrior yet. just watched your vid, looks like your still building your sporty. Your one of those guys that started building an older sporty, and is pissed. There isn't anything wrong with the older sportsters, but technology has improved. Don't see a vid of your bike running I'm gonna guess you've never rode before. Attempting to insult a real patchholder won't go very far. It's all about respect. Don't assume anything.

@ernofsteel007 a video. Having a video of a bike means you have a video camera, and post on youtube. Im sure u have an older sportster, wich is why you are so upset that I spelled it out how much the bike has improved. Heres your challenge, produce any credible performance specs on a 2000 to 03 sporty showing where harley went backwards. Instead of being a fool and posting from your opinion. I don't care whether u think I ride or not. As far as I know you are like I said, a weekend warrior.

@ernofsteel007 by the way smart guy or gal, all performance parts i listed myself and a brother in my club put on my bike, in my garage. How dumb are you. You probably don't know a thing a cv carbs. Check it out weekend warrior, learn the bike, do your own work. Read as much as you can so that you know your bike inside and out. I trying to help you, your really showing how much you don't know. Show me one spec anywhere that says 03 has more stock horsepower. I've got facts, you have gums flappin

Do you really think i would be reading performance specs or even know what a siphon jet was if i didn't ride.

@scrappysrmc my current bike (i posted a vid on my page) has buell heads, with stock everything the buell heads make only a slight diff, my bikes heavily modded so the heads are now making a diff. like i said you should actually buy a bike before talkn trash about ANY bike, i posted a video of my bike wheres yours? i am speaking from a owners POV & a mechanix POV whos built harleys from the ground up unlike your suggestion to read a article u seen LOL

@ernofsteel007 you should research a little. i guarantee the buell heads opened these bikes up. thats the reason they put them on the bike. the 03 and older 1200 sportsters are running in the 13 second quarter mile range. stock 04 will do 12's and with a few light upgrades and helping it breathe right you can easily put them in the 11 second range where mine is probably at now. Everybody changes pipes, jets, ant air cleaner. the thing some of them miss is the ignition mod., i didn't.

@ernofsteel are u kidding. I have an 04 1200c. I pulled away from a 96 1200 that was complete stage 2. My motor is stock. the only thing ive done was a dynotek ignition mod. 2 into 1 kerker pipes, re jetted the siphon jet and changed needle in carb. and a forcewinder air cleaner. I have rode many sporters, sorry but mine leaves the 03 and before hangin. the ignition module takes care of the retriction on your spark advance. I have rode 3 other 90's sportys. no comparison with this bike.
