Southeastern Virginia had a breakout of severe weather on Sunday afternoon August 5th, 2007. Virginia Beach had reports of golf ball sized hail and a funnel cloud, while Norfolk experienced hail and straight line winds approaching 60mph. Here is a video of the storm that passed over downtown Norfolk from just North of the storms edge. In this video you will see straight ine winds and pea sized hail.

  • AWESOME!!!! Love Severe storms! Too bad it was only pea sized hail though.

  • That's a pretty intense storm. Wind+Hail is never a good mix. Luckily for you it was only small hail.
