Microsoft's SMS pilot in Nghe An

The project "Deploying Text Messaging to Streamline Business Processes and Communication for the Nghe An Sugar Factory" tested the use of the ubiquitous mobile phones combined with the power of the Internet to improve the efficiency of the process farmers supply their products, resulting in time and cost saving.

Huge success with 98% of users (sugar cane farmers) satisfied with the solution, which paved the way for the subsequent efforts to sell Microsoft products and solutions.
