Majora's Mask - First 3-Day Cycle (TAS)

From my full game MM TAS. This cycle consists of getting magic and returning to the first day so I can become Link again. I also get 99 rupees in this cycle and put them in the bank for later on.

This run was made on an emulator, with...yeah, I think you know by now.

Thanks to duksandfish for encoding.

Expect the second cycle in the coming days. It's much more action-packed than this one.

I tried everything I could think of to glitch to the tower just like in the video. After running out of time, I had to go get the code from the kids.

Is there a trick to get him to climb up the edge that I missed in the video?

Backflip into the corner, and let him slide on the ledge. As he's sliding, turn him towards the platform. He should grab onto it. If it doesn't work right away, try again.

Where did you get that impression? Everything done in this video is possible on the N64.

There's a little 3 second or so timesaver at 7:10. you can spin to grab the ledge, which would be faster to use in a TAS.
