  • taylor moore, i agree that it is up to the practitioner to make the best of their martial art

  • @angloricua i agree if you think you have skill and wish to proove a point then do what you want with your own judgements go to hombu in japan and see your own failure befor your eyes .its not about history or any of that crap its about the person training and what he wants out of it . and ninjutsu is a collection of arts thats how it started its not ridged like outher systems it evolves like a human .900 years worth of people praticing and trying out new things.

  • Soke is THE MAN!

  • Creationsofmyown doesn't know anything about the art, ignore his comments.

  • @Creationsofmyown Fair point, I think there actually is a Big Mac menu, but who cares the Big Mac is far from big anyway! I'm sorry I;m not sure what TSKR is, you'll have to spell the whole word out as I'm a little computer illiterate. Soke wont train good fighters, he constantly stresses that we all have our own Taijutsu depending on the shape and capabilities of our bodies.

From your point of view you see him as a salesman, I see a thought provoking man. The Bujinkan isn't for everyone!

  • @angloricua

"I'm sorry you have a problem with Hatsumi sensei but you are entitled to your opinion."

i realize that this is a common mode of defense for all those people unable to produce ANY evidence to back up the belief they have stacked on hatsumi, but i bear him no ill will beyond being a good salesman.

nobody said he wasnt a great martial artist, he SHOULD train good fighters, but that DOESNT change that he is claiming something false. and doing it WITHOUT EVIDENCE.

  • @angloricua

"Maybe when the Big Mac was invented it never had pickles "

    i LIKE the bigmac analogy

so here is the thing, how would you feel if a "big mac" was released now that had absolutely nothing in common with the current bigmac.... what if it was an entirely different thing, and they still called it a bigmac, is that ok with you?

what if their whole menu was called bigmac?

we have names for a reason, and ninjutsu is one that has no living connections beyond maybe TSKR

  • @Creationsofmyown I'm sorry you have a problem with Hatsumi sensei but you are entitled to your opinion. I personally find him an intriguing gentleman with an extraordinary talent for martial arts that I can only hope to come close to one day. I certainly don't worship him but I do believe he is given far too much disrespect from what I've seen in peoples comments. I've said before Budo Taijutsu has saved my life, I thank my instructor and I thank soke Hatsumi for the training he gives 100% .

  • @Creationsofmyown Yeah well, I don't know if it's false or not and I'm not about to question him because I know his stuff works, no matter where it came from that's all that matters to me, I had a gun pulled out on me in downtown and Budo Taijutsu saved my life, the training just switched on as if auto pilot! Really who cares if anybody adds a little something here and there, it's an evolving art and always has been. Maybe when the Big Mac was invented it never had pickles (bad analogy I know)

  • @angloricua

"that doesn't mean to say that aspects have bee filtered through espionage and Guerilla warfare" if all that hatsumi has is "aspects" then he has NO business claiming a menkyo kaiden, and sokeship of a 900 year old direct lineage.

thank you for admitting he is claiming something you know to be false.

".but really why should you be so bothered by it that nearly every second vide" because i have a problem with hatsumi, and his students thinking they can rewrite history...
