This castle is magical. Outside, it looks grand and powerful. Inside, it is extremely comfortable and colourful.

Versailles is a palace not a castle like Windsor. Palaces are usually quite ornate homes, castles are fortresses, not meant to be pretty.

Personally I would count Versailles as a Palace, not a Castle.
Windsor originally started life as a Fortress.
