WOO! This is what I've been doing for the past forever and why I've not finished all the video projects I keep saying I'll do. I'm so sad it's over though. If I could do this all again, I really would. The week we rehearsed from 9AM until stupid o'clock at night was the week we became a family.
This recording isn't of our best performance night because we were lacking energy XD But it's all I've got...

Principal Roles:
Sweeney Todd - Connor Davidson
Mrs Lovett - Nicola Jones
Anthony - Ryan Lucas
Johanna - Zoe Hickson
Tobias Ragg - Juliette Ash
Judge Turpin - Rodger Carter
Pirelli - Sarah Rayner
Beggar Woman - me!
Beadle - James Allan
Bamford - Gavin Marish

Bird Seller | Jonas Fogg | Policeman | Ensemble - Ryan Brown
Understudy to Pirelli | Policeman | Ensemble - Georgia Newton

Ensemble:
Jess Rowland
Ellen Paver
Antonia Weight
Jess Storey
Lucy Shafford
Nadja Zachary

Jess Nipper
Holly Johnston
Micah Mackay

Dancers:
Tom Stephens
Rea Lillywhite

I LOVE THEM ALL -heart- I've never been in a production where I love absolutely everyone in the cast. I seriously miss it. If ever I was asked to do it again, I would no questions asked.

  • I just wanted to apologize for sounding so rude and mean. I really didn't mean to come off so harsh and offend so many. I didn't even think when I posted my comment and I regret it now. So I am sorry and I am glad there are other people out there who enjoy doing theatre as much as I do.

  • @born4broadway It's alright. I think it's harder to phrase something on the net because you can't put across inflection, so simple things can be interpreted harshly. I guess 'think before you speak' can be edited to: 'think before pressing enter' lol Yeah, we all love theatre here as well :)

  • watched the other videos though and the Beggar Woman which im assuming is you is delightful. Very gross, slightly offensive, and wonderful all at the same time its just that Anthony and Sweeney struggle with their singing; tuning. Im not the greatest singer but im pretty decent to where I know that something is wrong. Sorry if I sound rude. Im sure you guys had a blast doing it though, I know we did.

  • @dramafit300 Thank you, I love playing eccentric characters! Yeah, I think nearly all of us will put our hands up and admit that we're not singers, but the first thing our teachers looked for during the auditioning process was our singing ability. This is the best of those who auditioned.

Given what we sounded like when we started, I think most of us came out OK, but at the end of the day, like you said, it was an unforgettable and fun experience ^^

  • Wow! That looks like so much fun.

You really are talented in so many ways.

  • @yunaguardian001 It was so fun that words will never do the adjective 'fun' any justice. If that even made sense... Point is, it was amazing and I wish I could do it again T_T

    Heh, thank you ^///^

  • sorry i just dont like the dancers during the prelude...the rest is very good though, if a little slow

  • @dramafit300

All I have up so far is Priest. It takes a million years to get these up. lol But yeah, it won't let me put the link on here. So just look up A Little Priest- University High School. :)

  • @dramafit300 just kidding. not letting me post. sorry for all the posts lol

  • @dramafit300 Actually heres the recording of us at our Awards night at the 5th Ave. Theater in Seattle. Were up for best show and im up for best actor, even though I didnt sing too well that night lol well if youd like to watch hope you enjoy. :)

  • @dramafit300 Ya there are no videos on here of us. Im sure if you search 2010 5th Avenue Theater High School Awards in Seattle, WA you'll find us. If you wish to that is. :)

  • @raille Ya I thought all that stuff thats done on Broadway looked silly but its need for broadway. In a movie you have close ups so you dont have to speak loudly or make gigantic gestures, but in Broadway you have to be huge and crazy cuz its just you and the house ya dig?

And she doesnt mean to be rude or mean shes just really, really critical about Broadway because she loves it so much lol

And im not sure if we have videos of us on here...maybe from state. ill check and if so ill post. :)

  • I'm not bashing Lansbury, she's Mrs Potts! Her acting is appropriate for broadway, but on film it looks a little silly. But srsly - the accent is just NO. If she couldn't pull off cockney, she should have just stayed American, like Hearn. Also, you need to sort your Lovett's attitude problem. Critique constructively if you will, but she is bashing these kids' performance, and they really did give all they had!

On a personal note, @dramafit300 - would like to see your interpretation :)
