However, I have to say I do sympathise with how you must feel and why you did it. But the law is the law and believe it or not, it really is an offence! Check out section 33 (1) (a) of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. It seems wrong dosent it but it is seen as illegal waste disposal. Trust me I'm an expert!

sorry Funkmeister0000, but your wrong. I know it dosent seem fair but the law makes it an offence to deposit waste on land without the benefit of a licence. Trust me I know this because I'm the guy that helps prosecute people who do this.

@dBMusic63 The waste was exactly where it started - on the owner's land. The fact it was no longer in their skip is of no consequence, and was not dumped in a public place; no case to answer.

I didn't know they would do that, but the next day the owner turned up,and by the end of the day another skip came,2 guys loaded it and it was taken away, so alls well that ends well
