1. Not one kid, or even the director looked like they even ATTEMPTED to show ANY emotion.
2. Tone quality sucked.
3. Is that directing or simply standing in front of a choir and motioning?

5. They do not deserve applause.
6. I did this song with my high school about a month ago and the performance in this video reflected our first sight reading rehearsal of it.
7. I don't give a crap if its only high school, a LITTLE animation would have excused all this.

this choir does have potential. there are a few voices that stick out that ruin the choir. it wasn't great but i have heard worse

We are doing this song in my choir. It's an awkard song to begin with, but listening to this is helping me learn it. Thanks. I love when people upload HS choir videos on Youtube. The choir had good dynamics too, especially on the part after the clapping.

@LHSPerformingArts plenty of people use the abbreviation "LOL", don't be so stuck up. they have a legitimate criticism whether you care to accept it or not.

Could be how the choir director envisioned it? There's an idea, interpretation.

u guys sounded good...were doing the same song for a highschool and middle school concert haha its hhelping me with practicing too cuz we go at the same speed...its more fun fast :D

1. RUSHING!
2. 'high notes' were little more than strained squeaking
3. no emotion
4. I am in our schools 7/8 choir, doing this song, with no 'polishing up' we're still better.
5. Is this a choir of all altos, baritones (ect.)? 'Cuz this is a few octaves lower than it should be.

Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation. I doubt someone who uses the phrase "LOL" is qualified to judge a choir director's sense of rhythm.
