@iluvoes1 I think she's Italian, isn't she? Aren't they known for using their hands a lot when they talk? She's obviously a fun, outgoing person. Her mother has always come across as more reserved; maybe she gets it from her father. :-) I enjoy it.

Do you ever combined different types of fabric in your stripy quilts or do you try to keep them 100% cotton?

I've never made a quilt but this seems quite easy. Do you but batting on it and a backing also? Thanks for the great idea!
