This footage was taken by Wafaa' Al-Natheema in Seoul, S. Korea in August 2005 when she participated in the Peace Festival beyond the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).

Our Institute was contracted to arrange for two Iraqi musicians living in Jordan to perform with the National Police University Orchestra at the Peace Festival and also to perform a concert of Iraqi music.

Ms. Al-Natheema performed poetry and songs at this festival and, upon return to the USA, wrote a detailed report about the festival and her personal account, which can be accessed at http://www.INEAS.org/specialreports.htm#korea

When their engagement ended, Wafaa had two additional days before departure during which she took extensive footage of Seoul and other areas. Additionally, eight hours worth of footage from the PEACE Festival have been archived. If interested in the footage, contact us at:

  • I was mesmerized by the many windows opened in this temple, the delicious breez and the birds roaming freely with people, just like nature intended.

  • This is wonderful work. Thank you, INEAS, for your universal work educating people around the world about each others. INEAS and Wafaa; you are indeed leaders working superbly to accomplish this mission. I loved this video, the clip about the Keralan Hindu temple, the Music & Ballet School of Baghdad, the Arab sciences clips, the Russian Cartoons, and the many clips of Indian music. Thank you so much, keep up the great work. I wish I know Arabic, I would have enjoyed them too.

  • Very interesting, we need piece as that in Iraq, their praying is similar to the Islamic way, very strange!

  • I'm surprised by the size of myths and beliefs in Asia in Korea, China and India those peoples of the richest heritage of peoples salute ... this great work.
