Cartoonish, pixary humor, to me that's well written. Maybe not breath blowing. They are, what they aim to be, funny comical relief. Even chip has his moments ^^.

intelligent point well made, and I respect your ability and willingness to see both sides of each argument. You said you'd be happy if you convinced even one person to buy the game, difference made, happiness earned. I'll buy it as soon as my local game shop re-stocks.

Not bashing you in anyway btw, I just really did not like this game, it had beautiful graphics, cool music, and cartoonish pixarlike humor, even chip doesn't deserve all the hate he gets, but everything about the gameplay was horrible, and if gameplay is horrible, the whole game is ruined

Now the wii version wasnt as horrible, at least it was playable, i'm talking about the 360 version in my other comment, it was TERRIBLE! Sonic 06 was better than that garbage, I don't know I managed to stand it long enough to make it to eggmanland

Dude what are you talking about? There's a HUGE difference between challenge and tedious guessing and that's what this game's daytime levels were: a huge almost unplayable guessfest and you don't feel like you're playing it feels more like you're surviving, heck the werehog wasn't even the problem. I honestly tried to like it but I just couldn't do it, I finally ragequit at eggmanland.

There is nothing wrong with liking the game and thinking it is good., or thinking it is bad but still liking for that matter.

But you can't help but compare it to other things. I like the game overthinker and his stuff on sonic is the best hope for Sonic I've heard. I wish sonic games were better than mario, but they're not and I'd love to see what the Game overthinker suggests for the series really come to fruition.

I admit it. I also had high expectations. Can you blame me though? The trailer of him running though that European town got my hopes up. It looked fast and fun and when they flipped to 2D it made me drool. The more I think about it, the more I realize that I was one of those people described in the video.

i think Unleashed (both ps2/wii and ps3/360 versions) is not a bad game at all. But it's not a really good game too! like SA or SA 2 were. The bigger problem was clearly the Werehog. Not his existence, but his gameplay. One can say it's boring, other can say it's quite fun, but whether is good or bad, the point is that it doesn't fit in a fucking platform game!! What's the point of screwing up all that "old-school Sonic" feeling SU gives you at the beggining, with freakin' beat'em up battles?
