@dellovad Yeah the comment was a year ago however vortech pumps have been out way longer than that. They have been around for over half decade. I don't work for vortech however I do have the MP60 and stand behind it all the way. In reefing most people rely on reviews to buy there products. I started with korilia's, then sea swirls, then closed loop, and now the MP60. I'm just saying don't knock it till you try it. There great pumps.

@BDucati1098 the comment was made as it was introduced, and not to start some cyber bickering match 'bud' but it's just like any other latest and greatest-- kept reefs for 20 without it and sure can survive another 20 w/o-- "almost a must"? lol, do you work for them?

@dellovad your not suppose to use it with 6 inch waves bud. Thats just ot show people how powerful they are. You should research it a bit. This type of wavemaker is almost a must in reef aquariums. It's very effective. I wish it wasn't so expensive though.

kinda stupid, has almost no use in home aquaria. I mean, what, supposed to leave my tank a third empty so my overpriced gadget won't spill my water? Would say anyone that would buy one is probably compensating for something, kinda like a red sportscar

if i want to buy a mp40 es , should i wait a bit or wait till they modify the older designs? for example fan cooling on the older designs

Lets just hope they get the software right on these before releasing them to the public., unlike the last lot of pumps they released.
-
this is bullshit i just got the new mp40 when it released earlier this year
