  • haha chen chouliang is a gangsta

  • This is one "gentle" video. =p

  • @Bander1 Japan wanted to colonize all of China piece by piece, and subject her people to its brutal imperial rule. Its economic interests were based on a set of unfair trade rules persuaded by its military might. There is no doubt that Chinese resistance was on the side of justice. Japan is still trying to justify its actions in 1937 and WWII today, and denying the atrocities it committed throughout Asia and Pacific.

  • This video went viral on Palikir

  • like father like son, no wonder chiang kai shiek got kicked out of China, how can you reason with an ongoing invading force.

  • With the unification of China under KMT rule in 1928. The KMT was seen as a major threat by Japan since it was hostile to its business interests in China.

With its plans at poltical meddling failing, Japan tried to collapse the KMT by invading bits of China starting with Manchuria. Even the invasion of China in 1937, Japan did not intend to conquer and hold China but to collapse the KMT and oust Chang. the Japanese would then break up China into puppet states.

  • This led Japan to take advatage and invade Manchuria.

Also what the video does not mention is that Japan had much economic interests in China centereing on Manchuria and Shanghai. Japan was probalby the biggest foreign investor in China and Japan got cheap resources and sited its factories in China.

Japan had supported the various warlord clques since the early 20th century. A disunited China was to its interest since it can be eailly exploited.

  • Well what the video again does not mention the very important significance of the central plains war of 1930.

The Central Plains war was a massive civil war within the KMT which pitted Chang Kai Shek vs. his warlord allies(Li Tsung Jen, Yen Shi San and Feng Yuxiang) in a massive war which had 2 milion men fighitng in central China for 6 months, while Chang won and absorbed his enemies, the KMT was much weakened and still factionalized.
