This is a montage of some CITV IVC, from several different days. The 1st clip is from 21-12-90. The next 4 clips are all from early 1991, but the exact dates are unknown sorry! The final clip is from 6-9-91. The first 4 clips are all presented by Jeanne Downs & Scally the dog, whereas the last 2 clips are both presented by Tommy Boyd. All clips were recorded in the TSW region. Apologies for the bad editing & poor quality in some places.

  • Margaret Thatcher? I think I'm finally falling out of love with you, Jeane.

  • @neonatalpenguin It wasn't the 'real' Margaret Thatcher, as it was the impersonator called Steve Nallon who appeared on "Celebrity Mousetrap" with Jeanne.

  • @mrandy The first Angelo was male & played by Tyler Butterworth. He was in Series 1/2 & in the first episode of Series 3 he 'morphed' (Dr. Who-style) into the 2nd Angelo, played by Tim Whitnall. Tim then played him until the final series in 2000.

  • Thanks for uploading this video.

Jeanne Downs is so cute in her Children's ITV Days and I also miss Scally the Dog too.

  • Ah memories.....again! :D

  • I think he was putting children at ease with the likes of Lord Fear and massive spiders. It used to scare me, but in a brilliant sort of way.

  • Do either of you guys have some footage of the first Angelo? It's driving me mad, I'm sure I used to be confused about whether he was male or female.

  • Did Tommy Boyd suggest the Knightmare contestants are actors at 7:06? Is that why he subsequently gurned and put his hand over his mouth.

  • Yes, once Rita left that was really the final straw. I can't remember why Rita left but the story was that the Scottish woman was supposed to be house sitting for her. To be honest, even when the second version of Mike arrived, still found it watchable.

  • Then Mike's mother Rita (Shelley Thompson) left too (in series 7 I think) & was replaced by some annoying Scottish woman so I stopped watching then! Still for the first 3 series it was excellent stuff!...
