@cherry03sassy if you are talking about the shortening in chocolate you put it in to make it thin so it goes on the pop smooth. otherwise it can be kinda chunky

@cherry03sassy the reason for the shortening in the chocolate is to thin it out because the wilton chocolate melts when melted tend to be thick making it hard to dip the cake pops into and having a nice smooth consistancy.
