Not all African Americans buy into the stereotypes...Meet some of us first b4 passing ur judgements...Secondly Africans and other blacks outside of Africa buy into the Afro-American Stereotypes...And i know i do not need to elaborate...I asked one brother that came from Sierra Leone on a lottery what was his perception of (AA's) he said and I quote...we think they are slaves...people not wanted by Africans!

I think you met an african who already has something against african Americans. That response is equally shocking to me(an African)! That brother must be feeling inferior to AA's and u know how some people use hurtfull/negative comments on others inoder to feel better about themselves. It's a real shame.

Im just curious to know why so many races including are own Afro Races look down own American black people? Maybe because its the violence images on tv. I guess maybe i need to get myself together and be part of the solution and not the problem

@Brooklyn7487 Whats up sir or miss i'm BA and I don't hate africans,whites or anybody for that matter because there really is no point.Also the name african american came from the followers of malcolm x in the midwest and the north.The term caught on in the late 70s and 80s and has been used every since mostly in the media.Malcolm believed we were africans outside of Africa.Whites didn't come up with that name.It was in malcolm's "don't hate the fruit of a tree speech".
