  • Brings back good memories to see contests at the stadiums at "Easta Bost" and Everett Stadium. Nice shot of "Big Mike" Mullan, a proud Townie and proud Irishman. He deserves a lot of credit for what he gave to the kids of Charlestown.

  • I see Hank O'Donnel there in his pre-Prince days.

  • Ahhhhhh, when Drum Corps was really Drum Corps!

  • I believe my uncle, Jackie Moran, was on the horn line in the early sixties. I remember seeing him in his uniform at my grandmother's house in Charlestown.

  • Charlestown was what drum corps was all about in the 60's. The Boston area corps were the Pantheon for us in the central part of the state.

    Love these Majestic Knight posts!

Any corps that plays "The Naval Hymn" is tops, and if I want to feel nostalgic, nothing does it better than "Now and Forever."
