Thats an excellent time for a normally aspirated FWD.

So awesome! Nobody remembers all of the fast stangs... But they remember the sleepers

@thenoblegeek Yea i know, this is by far the fastest a csvt do the 1/4 mile ive seen, ive seen the axles snap at jus 300hp and is CSVT#49 supposed to be like SVT contour jesus or something lol but hell id rather do a crazy all wheel drive conversion

@streetracer44870 Nobody has achieved a sub-13 second quarter mile in these cars to date. You can build the motor and the trans all you want but once you hit big numbers on horse power, the axles snap off. There is a guy who goes under the name of CSVT#49 on the Contour Enthusiasts Group forum that is doing a build right now where he is seriously tackling the suspension/traction issue. If he doesn't pull it off, no one will unless you do a crazy rear wheel drive conversion.

are you still using the svt contour trans? i dont know if they bolt up or not? whats the rev limit on the stock 3.0l and what is it at on your car if you changed it? thanks man

yea whatever works for you haha, prolly wont spend as much as you would for a nautilus kit.
what parts do you have? sounds mean! putting on some lightweight wheels will bring that down probably 2 tenths if you find some that are 15.lbs

04 Escape 3L, ST220 Upper Intake 65mm throttle body, SVT cams, MSDS Headers, Custom True Dual Exhaust.
The wheels are already pretty lightweight, they are centerline storms, can't go smaller than 17's though since i have a 13 inch brakes upfront.
That was the first run at the track that day, I only had 2 runs before I snapped an axle :(

nice run, 13.5 @104, slap a nautilus turbo kit and you will be seeing 12's.
