ah i have cx605, only 1year old and it started doing that..usually i smack it here where mouse is and it stops for a few, but is this ok or should I get it fixed? cause my warranty sticker was teared ever since I got it so I guess my warranty is useless...what did you do with this laptop on video, do you still have it?

@cksiro wd40 is simple a water displacement cleaner, real lubrication would be some sort of mechanical grease or gel maybe liquid graphite.... im picking this up soon tho, i hope it doesnt fail

dude i got the same problem with mine, its not too bad at the moment tho... have you been able to sort yours out?
I had the same problem, you can resolve it yourself: open it, then you have to disassemble the cooling system. You must unscrews the fans screws, in order to clean the fan and introduce a drop of oil on the rod fan. This is a mechanical problems.

@liveia5050 mate i've done that already.. i've used an aircompressor to blow out all the dust and the spray it with WD40.. it might a slight improvement but the noise came back within a few days
