Today on BRSTV we are going to demo a handful of test kits and find out what we like about the different brands. We will feature a salifert, redsea and hanna checker test. We are going to to focus on alkalinity which is one of the most commonly done tests as well as phosphate which is one of the hardest to read aquarium test kits.

Remember to clean the vial before using the Hanna checker, even a thumbprint can effect the reading.

just one question...I have the redsea calcium, alkalinity and phosphate combo but it is kind of confusing at the time at reading the result of the test..my question is if when reading the results I have to look at the amount left tritation in the syringe or the amount of tritation that I used?
