Just found out about this band and this song, amazing stuff, if you haven't heard of it, listen to the original recording, it's much better than what you're hearing now lol.

I dig this interpretation, and I definitely respect the way you take criticism.

What sort of editing software did you use? I think my question is more did you use a filter, or is it the acoustics of the room?

-shakes head- Nope, nope nope. I respect the fact this is your interpretation, but I seriously can't stand it. My suggestion is you stay away from these guys 'cause you're gonna need to have some grit when you perform it, and this just reeked of Pop fluff. So, honestly, keep more to the Pop route, and stay away from Blues or Blues Rock unless you're ready to get down and dirty.

The point of a cover is your own interpretation of the song. I don't see why people complain when it has a different feel to the original.. Great job!

Your voice is very nice :) I love the black keys and I think you did an awesome job with tighten up - maybe you should try the lengths by the black keys. its a lot softer and mellow, which might go better with your voice.
