  • So many people have been brainwashed by the war on terror. so sad :(

  • If Obama does close gitmo, it will be for purely political purposes. Secret arrests without charges, without access to a lawyer and without a trial will still continue.

  • Maybe we should put a theme park there so they can have fun.

  • The crimes committed by the USA, surely unforgivable, can't justify those committed by Islamist terrorists. By the way, Muslims have paid the highest price both in terms of pain and image.

  • no, i don't think it's possible to arrange all those prisoners in this way. 2 out of 250, who more? lol. i think they better be sent back to afganistan or pakistan.

You're making assumptions that these people are terrorists and don't believe in human rights. The fact of the matter is, the US is the one who's denying the human rights. Slashing Binyam Mohamed's testicles with scalpel's and razorblades to force false confessions makes THE US THE TERRORISTS! You should research the term DOUBLESPEAK.

  • Confessions obtained under torture are not necessarily false confessions. Sometimes access to information in time can save the lives of thousands. These people don't believe in human rights. Therefore, they are not entitled to enjoy them.

  • the man has broken EVERY promise he made during his campaign, so i don't see why this comes as a surprize.

    WTF! Wake UP America!

Name one guilty Gitmo prisoner who wasn't tortured into a confession....

  • Ireland has accepted to take 2 prisoners and negociations are ongoing for other prisoners. So you see- prisonplanet is actually here.
