Also... try playing it without a pick. you have 3 fingers and a thumb you can pick with. trust me. your songs will sound much FULLER when you learn that way of playing. (and no boo-whoo's allowed about how hard it is ) --- he he he Rock on...

Keep workin it. Listen to the song super close. pay close attention to what notes are played on which words. its helps with your timing. You'll notice that each player seems to have their own version. I prefer to watch Cat Stevens play it but they dont always show his hands, So i'll watch other people covering it afterwords... you'll pick up parts from one video you dont see ( or hear ) on another video... good luck
