Are the people huge or the RR small? "Klein aber fein" they say in German. In either case, I suppose the people operating it will say it doesn't matter. It's real. Just as real as my camera running out of memory as #98 backs up toward and under me on its way to the turntable.
And of course, they had it turned before I run back and grab the next card. And then I don't start the recording properly as the train leaves again. It would have been a great shot. Unfortunately it exists only in my mind. Fortunately, it exists at least in my mind.

  • Just got to say I love this video, and my 3yr old son is now asking when can we get one! LOL

  • @dep92 Thanks for your comment 1 Time to get a bigger yard, it seems :)

  • Silly Question, but what gauge is this?

  • @burnout300991

Not silly at all - had to check myself:

    It's a 15-inch gauge railroad

  • @MILW753

Ah lovely! Would love a go on that beauty! But I'm in the UK so not going to happen!

  • @burnout300991

Well, just hop on a plane. On the other hand, you have some very fine operations yourself. Perhaps more so.

  • If I remember when I was there the answer is no and I saw a small scale derailment thank no one got hurt

  • @MILW753

Would love to but can't afford to :(

We have a good amount of 15" gauge railways like the RH&DR and R&ER. But I have a soft spot for the american 4-4-0's like the Cagney's and Virginias.

  • @b3tothe12

Not a dumb question at all - I don't remember having seen any brake being applied. Will check next time I'm there. Sorry about the late reply, didn't get a notification of the message.

  • No problem, and yeah, I think we would all love to own a grand scale locomotive; nothing beats the "in-cab" experience that larger scale locomotives offer.
