Zophar's 2nd form and a very looooong battle..

First couple of rounds just gotta stay alive till Lucia breaks free then its battle time!!

Woulda liked to have shaved a few minutes of this battle and it gets outta sync later on.

This was one of the greatest games ever made. People who played the PSX version who claimed it was easy... try fighting Borgan on the Sega CD one... many a controller was thrown during that battle. Omni-Zophar music = <3

The final boss theme here sounds so much better than the Sega CD and PSX versions.

@EddyVitkauskasXband It helps if you aren't at a very high level, and if you don't have many items... like the first time I fought him. Running out of MP restore items and no more White Dragon protection will screw you in this battle, so lessening the damage a little here and there does help in some ways.

@EddyVitkauskasXband My first strategy was to use Lemina's protect spell (with everyone clustered) but I found myself overwhelmed pretty quickly. Oh, and I agree -- great game.

@ScholarlyWarrior Used Lemina's protect for the magical defense and WDP for physical. Hmmm... Just what seemed to work best for me, however I am going off a memory almost 15 years old ☺ Still a great f-in game!

@EddyVitkauskasXband Yes, I'm sure. Even if someone used WDP every turn, Zophar and his limbs can still attack you (magically) more than once per turn. It helped me a great deal when the elemental area spells only hit one member of my party rather than all of them.

@ScholarlyWarrior White dragon protect eliminates the need to spread out... You sure you played this game? ☺ Also Lemina's regular protect spell must have the group in proximity.

ugh no wonder he wouldn't die... i was lazy so i didn't look up a guide and the memory saved on my emulator got erased somehow so i was trying to beat with screenshots saves. My hiro didn't have his triple attack i burnt up all my silverlights before this fight and didn't equip any with those revive rings. not to mention i spent the whole time attacking him when i was suppose to wait for lucia to heal... time to replay the game
