Does the flame sword ever get too hot around the handle to hold? I'd think that just having a flame like that being so close to your hand might be somewhat proned to cause burns. Although, since it's a professional product I'd also assume they'd treat the handle so there is no such problem...

Actually it does. I wear lether gloves when I do it, and I still let it cool down after 2 burns. Number 2 half way through gets REALLY hot. I would only do 1 without the gloves
